Itinerary

Hanoi arrival

Warmly welcome you on arrival at Noi Bai international airport. We transfer you with a comfortable vehicle to the city center of Hanoi to check-in your hotel. This day is scheduled to take some rest after your long flight. You have the opportunity to get some first impressions of the city by yourself and of course our tour guide is always available at your request. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi
 

Hanoi –Mai Chau (L, D)

After breakfast, we depart for Hoa Binh. Continue to Mai Chau valley, through typical steps on the road to Dien Bien Phu, visiting authentic villages where you are greeted by the Thai ethnic groups living in houses on stilts. Upon arrival check-in at your homestay and lunch with local family
In the afternoon explore the villages of Van, Poomcong and Lat in Mai Chau by walking or cycling to discover the daily life of the Thai ethnic minority. Stop on the way to enjoy the beautiful green scenery of mountain and rice paddy. Dinner and overnight in homestay
 

Mai Chau – Pu Luong (B, L, D)

Morning after breakfast, enjoy a car trip to Pu Luong retreat. On arrival, you will be transferred to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you begin your walk in search of stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes. Transfer back to Pu Luong Retreat for lunch
In the afternoon, descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat where you walk around tumbling rice terraces. Trek through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Overnight at Pu Luong Retreat
 

Pu Luong – Ninh Binh (B, L)

Today we leave the Pu Luong for your next destination of Ninh Binh. Enjoy scenic trip to Ninh Binh along Ho Chi Minh trail for 3 hour. Upon arrival we explore the beautiful countryside in Vietnam by an excursion to Hoa Lu
The former capital of Vietnam in the 10th century covers an area of 300 ha. Today, the ancient citadel no longer exists, and few vestiges still remain. In Hoa Lu there are now 2 temples dedicated to King Dinh Tien Hoang and King Le Dai Hanh.
After lunch, transfer to visit Trang An Grottoes to take boat trip for 2.5 hours to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers where UNESSCO recognize as the world nature heritage in 2015, and local people called friendly name "Halong bay in Land" in Ninh Binh and where made famous movie name Skull Island (King Kong II).
 

Ninh Binh – Ha Long Bay cruise (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel and then start a 3-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City
Declared as a World Heritage site by the UNESCO in 1994, Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural attractions. Nearly 200 km far from Hanoi, the bay is dotted with 1600 limestone islands, capturing visitors’ attention.
Comfort stop en route for photos and coffee before arriving to Ha Long City. We then transfer to a traditional wooden sailing junk for a cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this World Heritage Site. While on board we will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim and exploring some of the limestone caves in this area. When the sun comes down we drop anchor for the night nearby a remote island. Overnight on board
 

Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B, L)

Rising to the tranquil beauty of the bay we have time for an early morning dip with joys and emotions for watching sunrise on sea followed by breakfast. This morning we continue to move around the bay to find more secluded areas. The junk will be near us at all times serving as a back-up vessel for those that require it. At around midday we will return to the main harbor before transferring to our awaiting vehicle for a 3-hour journey to Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue.
Hue was the capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty. Not only is it famous for the splendid architecture of citadels, palaces, royal tombs and pagodas but the ancient traditions of Hue also created a unique romantic city.

Hue Imperial city (B)

We then set out for the exploration of Hue's famous highlights, including a boat trip to visit the picturesque Thien Mu, or Heavenly Lady Pagoda
Built in 1601, it is one of the best know religious and must-see sites in Hue. Both landscape and monuments here are always in harmony and bring a feeling of peace for travelers.  
Disembark the board for a visit the elaborate mausoleum of former emperor Tu Duc.
Stretching along the Perfume River, Tu Duc mausoleum is considered to be the most picturesque site of Hue. The tomb was designed by the Emperor Tu Duc himself and this is the largest architectural work of Nguyen Dynasty’s royal palaces and tombs.
Transfer back to Hue center Hue for lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon we continue to visit the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City
Built in the 19th century by Nguyen dynasty, the Citadel becomes the most important historical and cultural monument in Vietnam. It is a square 2 km wall encompassing 3 walled enclosures: the Citadel, the Yellow Imperial city, and the Forbidden Purple city.
If time permits, we continue to do the walking and shopping in Dong Ba Market to enjoy the specialty of Hue city. Overnight at the hotel in Hue
 

Thuy Bieu Eco village – Hoian (B, L)

After breakfast we pick up you at your hotel and transfer you to Toa Kham wharf. Upon arrival we take a dragon boat along Perfume River forward Thuy Bieu Village. From Phu Wharf, you keep cycling along verdant paths visit Nguyen Phuoc Toc worship palace, Luong Quan temple and visit local people’s daily life. Afterward visit ancient houses, calls “Nha Ruong” which is over 100 years old and take part in daily activities with the local people such as making sesame candy, processing rural dishes. Lunch will be served with a Vietnamese traditional family. Here you have a chance to try sesame candy and special dishes which are made from local materials by skillful hand of poetic Hue woman. In the afternoon ride to visit Than temple- worship Mai-am princess- the daughter of Ming Mang King. Mr. Hieu will introduce to you about his ancient tamp and money collection. Leave Thuy Bieu village to come back to city. Don’t forget to say thanks to friendly people and skillful woman, who gave you an impressive experience in Vietnam countryside. On the way come back to Hue city, we stop to visit Tiger Arena (Ho Quyen) and Screaming Elephants Altar (Voi Re), Long Tho pagoda, Long Tho market ... Tour guide also introduces to you about Hue Railway station, Ho Chi Minh museum, Quoc Hoc School. In the late afternoon transfer to Hoian for your overnight  
 

Eco Cam Thanh bicycle tour – Hoian walking tour (B, L)

• Activities: Cycling, basket boat cruise, fishing, relaxing foot massage with medicinal herbs, cooking classes and lunch at local family house.
 Spend a day leisurely cycling though the scenic and peaceful countryside of Vietnam, far away from the noise of the city. After passing through town, you will find yourself cycling amongst villages of rice fields on quiet roads, ending up in Van Lang fisherman village and Bay Mau water coconut forest - 7 hectares of mangrove forest, canals, and houses covered in water coconut leaf. This place played refuge to people and local soldiers during the Vietnam War, but nowadays it is famous for its abundance of seafood. On our journey to the village we will stop at Ba Le market, rice fields, cemeteries and schools...In the village you will be warmly welcomed with a green tea by Mr. Han and his family, the third generation of his family to live here. You are then free to stroll through the village, before rowing a basket boat with the help of skillful locals, learning their traditional fishing techniques in the water coconut forest. After returning to Mr. Han and his family, you will enjoy a traditional therapeutic foot bath with medicinal herbs, before helping to prepare lunch with a local family. Lunch will feature many local dishes, such as Tam Huu spring rolls, Banh Xeo local pancakes, grilled fish in banana leaf, among many other Vietnamese delicacies. Free time and the opportunity for a short rest will follow lunch, before we return to your hotel.

In the afternoon, we will visit Hoi An town with ancient merchants' houses, a Phuc Kien temple, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, and the colorful riverside marketsworkshops where artisans make Hoi An's famous lanterns. Guests learn how the lanterns are made then have a chance to create their own lanterns, from designing the frame to gluing the cloth, the most delightful places. Overnight at hotel in Hoian
 

Hoian Free & easy – Flight to Buon Ma Thuot – Lak lake (B, D)

Today you have free time until we pick up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Buon Ma Thuot. On arrival, transfer and Overnight at homestay at M’nong hilltribe village.
 

Lak lake - Buon Ma Thuot –Draysap Waterfall- Lak Lake (B, L, D)

Breakfast served at the homestay. Drive up to the hill top to visit Bao Dai villa historic relic of the former Emperor Bao Dai. From here, you have an overlooking the views of lake, the town and fishing village. Walk around the village to join in the local people’s lifestyles and hear about their traditions and cultures….Elephant riding and dug-out canoe trip on the lake to get such amazing experiences. Have lunch at Lak lake restaurant with some local specialities. Enjoy Gong music show with rice wine drinking with the M’Nong people at Le village. Back to Buon Ma Thuot, on the way to climb up the biggest elephant rock. Stop to visit peper gardens and rubber tree farms. Dinner and overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.
 

Buon Ma Thuot- Ban Don (B, L, D)

Breakfast served at hotel and depart to Draysap waterfall, away 30km from Buon Ma Thuot City, Draysap as E-de language means the Misty waterfall. The misty is by the its water falls from about 30m height, 100m length creating an amazing veil of mist. We then continue our exploration to Don Village which is located 55 km to the northwest of Buon Ma Thuot on the banks of the Srepok river. Here stop to visit the tomb of elephant King, ancient house, M’Nong cemetary and the 300m bamboo suspension bridge over the Serepok river. Afterward we transfer back to Buon Ma Thuot and visit Trung Nguyen coffee village (drink at your own). Dinner and overnight in Buon Ma Thuot
 

Buon Ma Thuot- Pleiku – Kontum (B, L, D)

After breakfast, we drive to Pleiku. Visit T’Nung lake with its surface area 250ha. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Continue to visit the tea plantation area and YALY hydro-electric power plant, Vietnam’s largest underground hydro-electric power plant with its capacity of 720 MW. On arrival to Kontum, a small and beautiful town in the Central highlands on the bank of the Dakbla river. Check-in at the hotel and have dinner. Overnight in hotel Kontum.
 

Kontum – Pleiku – Saigon  (B, L)

After breakfast we start to visit Konklo suspension bridge and Rong house nearby the river. Visit the wooden church built between in 1913 and 1918 by French priest Guise Decrouille with the architecture style, an interior decoration mixed between the local and western culture inside the town. And walking back to the church is the Orphanic Vinh Sonwhere caring for over 700 ethnic children. The orphanages are supported by the Sisters who provide food, shelter, clothing, education, and medical care for the children regardless of their religious background. The Seminary of Kontumis more amazing to visit. Lunch served at local reataurant. In the afternoon, visit the village of J’raipeople in where guests witness the community Rong house, the grave’s cultural statues.
You have free time until we pick up and transfer you to Pleiku airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival pick up and transfer you back to hotel in Saigon for your overnight
 

Saigon city – Cu Chi Tunnels (B)

Morning after having breakfast, depart for the famous Cu Chi Tunnels 
Located 70 km northwest of Saigon, Cu Chi Tunnels were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese soldiers in the American war. Nowadays, the tunnels have become a popular tourist attraction of Vietnam.
Afternoon, we take a half day of city tour to visit all famous sites of this bustling city. The first destination is the Reunification Palac
Reunification Palace is a unique construction designed for the President of South Vietnam during Vietnam War. When entering, visitors can not only admire its architectural beauty but also enjoy fresh atmosphere created by trees and grasses around.
Followed by some French colonial structures including the Old Saigon Post Office & Notre Dame Cathedral
Notre Dame Cathedral is one of the most famous architectural monuments influenced by European architecture. Both its exterior and interior are impressive with bright red color of bricks, stained glass panels and carved tiles, attracting many tourists.
After visiting the Jade Emperor Pagoda, we continue our trip to the bustling Ben Thanh Market, which is firstly well-known as the place for real Vietnamese food. There are a number of vendors and food stalls in the market food section that offers guests many freshly delicious dishes. You also can find any goods for daily use as well as variety of eye-catching local handicrafts, souvenirs here.

Saigon – Ben Tre – Saigon (B, L)

The Mekong Delta is the region in southern Vietnam where the Mekong River approaches and empties into the sea. It is a very rich and lush area, covered with rice fields, that produces about half of the total of Vietnam’s agricultural output.
Morning at around 08:30 we depart from the southern economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City to the area referred locally as ‘the rice bowl of Vietnam’- Ben Tre
Situated in Mekong Delta, Ben Tre has advantages to develop ecotourism with many fruit gardens, the floating fishing village, etc. For nature lovers, Ben Tre will be a wonderful destination. 
On arrival in Ben Tre Province head towards Tien Giang where you will board your local boat for a cruise among the aptly named Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix Islands. En-route visit a small factory producing handicrafts made of coconut and Turtle Island, where a stop will be made in a tropical orchard to taste some exotic fruit.  After the boat trip, take a ride on a horse driven cart along country roads to a famed garden for a honey tasting session. Continue on a smaller rowing boat for a more adventurous cruise on the Xep Canal which is set amongst a forest of palm trees. We then return to Ben Tre for lunch and followed by a journey back to Saigon. The remaining time would be spent at your own pleasure. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh
