Itineraries
A uniquely tailored package for guests wishing to experience cruising on the Mekong combined with respectfully offering Alms to a temple in Chomphet District.
Your Alms-giving experience will begin with a leisurely morning cruise along the Mekong before arriving to temple to pay homage. A light snack and beverages are provided along with materials to craft your own small Khan Dok Mai (floral offering) from banana leaves and flowers, if you wish. Your large Khan Dok Mai and Alms offering of fresh fruit and traditional Lao food, prepared and packaged specially for the monks will be waiting onboard Bounmi.
Your host will guide you on how to present your food offering and Khan Dok Mai to the monk(s) before they appear to receive them. Buddhist monks must refrain from eating after midday, therefore we like to offer alms prior to 11am.
After Alms have been offered and blessings received take a short stroll over to Wat Sacklin. Here you can explore their ancient caves before returning to Luang Prabang to enjoy the rest of your day!

- Safe and potable drinking water on-board. We are conscious about cutting back on plastic and preserving our natural environment so we use refillable water bottles on all our cruises and top up the bottles from a 5-gallon jug

Remark:
- Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels and operating conditions. Unused services are not subject to a refund.
- Meals on board are fusion: Laos menu. Guests should advise of any special food preferences, allergies or dietary requirements at least three days prior to the cruise date.
- Advance registration is required with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number and visa expiry date for all passengers. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by port authority.
