Tourist sites in Vietnam

You will never be stuck for something to do in Hanoi, where ancient and proudly preserved Vietnamese culture is felt most keenly by visitors, and progress wrestles with tradition in different districts of the city.

Vietnam is one of the most scenic countries in South-east Asia. You can find everywhere in Vietnam beautiful, odd and unique things. And the most spectacular sights in the northern part of the country, and Hanoi makes a great base to explore this region’s many wonders. Here are a few of my favorite “must-see” places:

Throughout history, Vietnam is very famous with the pure beauty of highland like Sapa, Mu Cang Chai, Hoa Binh,... or the world heritages such as Ha Long bay, Trang An,... But recently, many tourists have discovered forgotten gems in the center of this beautiful country. From the world’s biggest caves to long stretches of pristine beaches, there are plenty of amazing things to see and do in Central Vietnam, and here are the best attractions you should visit.

Mu Cang Chai is a highland district of Yen Bai province, about 280km from Hanoi. Each season, this place receives thousand domestic and international tourists. The district lies at the foot of the Hoang Lien Mountains, at an altitude of 1,000 m above sea level. To reach Mu Cang Chai district, go through Khau Pha pass - one of the four Great Passes of the Northwest.
