Returning to the capital, you can rest or walk around the city center, enjoying Lao specialties such as lap (minced meat salad) or tam mak hoong (papaya salad). Early in the morning, you can fly or take an overnight bus to Pakse, the largest city in Southern Laos. After arriving, check in to your hotel and rest. If you have time, you can walk around the city, visit the local market or visit Wat Phou Salao to see the whole view of Pakse from above. Today, you will have a trip to explore the Bolaven Plateau, a land famous for its majestic waterfalls and coffee plantations.
