Hung Nghia Church is located in Hai Hau District, Nam Dinh Province, Vietnam. It is about 30 kilometers from the center of Nam Dinh City. Hung Nghia Church is situated 110 kilometers southeast of Hanoi. It is also 80 kilometers southwest of Hai Phong. These are two major cities in Northern Vietnam.

The fastest transportation to Hung Nghia Church from these cities is by car. Driving time from Hanoi is approximately 2.5-3 hours and Hai Phong has 1 hour shorter drive than Hanoi. Visitors from far away should arrive at Noi Bai or Cat Bi International Airport. They can then follow the routes provided below to reach the destination.

Depart in Hanoi, run straight along National Highway 1A and turn right onto National Highway 21 to arrive in Nam Dinh. Continue following National Highway 21 from Nam Dinh City Center for about 35 kilometers to Hai Hau District.
The shortest route from Hai Phong to Hai Hau District is via National Highway 37B. However, if you want to stop by Nam Dinh City, National Highway 10 is an alternative option. The route might be convenient due to modern roads but it will take 20 kilometers longer.

The entire church is in cool tones of black and gray, creating both an antique and mysterious atmosphere, yet elegant. The children wear the uniform of the Vietnamese Eucharistic Youth Movement and are required to wear scarves when attending classes. The color of the scarf indicates the child's age, starting with pink for the youngest, then green, blue, yellow, and finally red for the oldest.
