First, come to Mamutik Island and have a relaxed day with the beautiful sandy beaches then head to Turtle Island to explore one of the world’s most important conservation programs for sea turtle. Continue to Sukau and Sandakan with the majestic caves, beautiful lakes and local villages. Have a 5-hour trek to conquer the Borneo’s highest mountain of Laban Rata. Last destination which we access is Kota Kinabalu, you will have free time to relax or explore this site with rice paddles, stilted houses, local villages

Itinerary
Upon arrival at the airport pick up and transfer you to your hotel. The remaining time would be your own pleasure to explore your surroundings after your journey to stretch your legs a bit. Overnight in Kota Kindabalu
After breakfast, we reach Mamutik Island by boat. Here immerse yourself in the beautiful sandy beaches, swimming or exploring the island by foot. After lunch continuing your way to Manukan Island for an afternoon of more swimming and relaxing by the beach. Take a stroll along its beachside jetties and spot the different kinds of brightly colored fish before returning to the mainland for the evening. Spend the night in Kota Kinabalu
Wake up early for catching an early flight to Sandakan. Upon arrival we will pick up you and transfer to Sandakan jetty for a 2 hours boat ride to Turtle Island, around 40km north of Sandakan. At Turtle Island you will get an unique experience and at the same time you will tribute to one of the world’s most important conservation programs for sea turtle. Not only will you see the magic of the turtle laying eggs but you will also experience the hatchlings being send to the sea on their first journey ever. This beautiful little island is not just an adventure in the nature but will also be a small relaxing journey that you will never forget. Spend the night on Selingan Island.
Today we will transfer back to Sandakan for a transfer to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, located in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. The center cares for young orphaned orangutans, which have been illegally caught and kept as pets. It also cares for injured and displaced wild orangutans, as well as other wildlife including the endangered Bornean Pygmy elephant. You can observe these lamentable animals at the time of their meals from a wooden platform. We then continue our way to Sukau, and then take the boat to your lodge in the middle of the rainforest! Free time to rest before going on a cruise on the Kinabatangan River to observe the endemic species of the region. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
(Remember to wear good walking shoes, a waterproof jacket, hat, sunscreen, flashlight, pair of binoculars and insect repellents)
Wake up early with the singing sounds of the forest, then cruise on Kinabatangan River to Oxbow Lake and observe the many bird species. Then, take a stroll through the breathtaking wilderness of Borneo before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, with the option to explore surrounding areas or visit some of the nearby villages. In the evening, get up close with local wildlife and fauna on a boat cruise along the river to a separate stretch of the Borneo rainforest. Explore lush stretches of untouched wildness before heading back to the lodge.
In the morning, depart to Gomantong Cave, which is invaded by millions of bats and whose walls are covered with nests of swallows. Then, hike the boardwalk to the mouth of Semut Hitam cave before exploring its deep caverns. Transfer back in Sandakan for your lunch. In the afternoon continue our city tour to the Sim Sim water village, the central market and the Puu Jih Shih Buddhist Temple, known for its use of reverse Swastika symbols – signifying of good luck in Buddhism - embedded into its exquisitely groomed gardens. Head back to Sandakan for a leisurely evening off.
Today we proceed on a five hour journey across the ridges of the Crocker Mountain Range to Kinabalu Park, home to one of Asia’s tallest peaks. This is the area surrounding Mount Kinabalu, one of the highest mountain in Southeast Asia, established in 1964 and was the country's first World Heritage Site in 2000 for its outstanding universal values and the role as one of the most important biological sites in the world with various species of flora and fauna. Spend the night at the park’s headquarters, 585 metres above sea level
Begin your quest to the summit of Mount Kinabalu at dawn to witness a breathtaking sunrise across the Crocker Mountain Range. Snap some photos at the peak before returning to Laban Rata Rest house for a hearty breakfast. Later, begin your descent to Timpohon Gate before making your way to the park’s headquarters for lunch before returning to Kota Kinabalu village to spend the night here
Today you have your free time to relaxing or exploring the Kota Kinabalu countryside with rice paddles, stilted houses. Drop a visit to Kadazandusun village, home to one of Sabah’s largest ethnic population. The remaining time would be your own time relaxing in the resort
Free at your resort before setting off for the airport for your return flight home.
