Itinerary
Reception at the airport, transfer to a hotel/city center. A welcome meeting where we will give you advice for this first day.

Night in Kuala Lumpur.
Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
0900hrs - Depart the hotel with our first stop at the limestone hills of Batu Caves which includes three caverns and several smaller caves.
It is the shrine of Lord Murugan, a Hindu deity – a flight of 272 steps leads to the temple cave.
After lunch, make a photo stop at central Kuala Lumpur, the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers , and visit the Skybridge and the observation deck at the tower. After the visit, return to the hotel and the rest of the day is free.

4:00 p.m. - Check out from the hotel and continue the guided firefly tour in the hamlet of Kampung Kuantan, Kuala Selangor, a site with one of the largest firefly colonies in the world.
On arrival we will visit "Kota Melawati " formerly known as "Fort Altinsburg", the tour includes the execution block, the royal mausoleum, and the colonial buildings on the bird sanctuary at the foot of the hill. After that, we go to Kampung Kuantan for dinner.
After dinner, we will row up the river in small unmortified boats in the calm night to see this natural phenomenon of products synchronized, rhythmic, and flashing by thousands of fireflies, just like the twinkling lights of Christmas trees! The return to the hotel takes approximately 1 hour and you arrive at the hotel just before midnight.

Check it out and continue your journey northwest into the state of Perak. Enjoy the journey to the Cameron Highlands, one of the most extensive mountain resorts made up of a series of villages strung along the main roads. Located around 1,800 meters above sea level, this mountain destination has retained its English character with its green hills dotted with chalets, farms, and golf courses.
Transfer to hotel and check-in.

8:45 a.m. - You will be welcomed at the entrance of your hotel for your visit for the day.
Board our Land Rover as you cruise along the picturesque rolling tea garden to 6,666 feet above sea level, the Gunung Brinchang. Listen to our guides talk about tea while enjoying breathtaking views of the tea garden. On a clear day, the drive up to the highest mountain accessible by road in Southeast Asia, will be blessed with magnificent views of the surrounding region. An interpretive walk with our guides in the Mossy Forest will introduce you to some of the land's exotic flowers, such as pitcher plants, orchids, primitive ferns, spices and medicinal plants. A short drive up the mountain will take you to the 'BOH' tea factory in Sungei Palas. A guided tour of the factory will allow you to appreciate the many varieties of tea offered at the Tea Shop.

Tomorrow morning, departure for Penang.
Stop at Sam Poh Tong or Perak Tong Cave Temple, a Buddhist temple carved into a limestone mountain. Arrive in Bukit Merah just in time for lunch (own account). In the afternoon, take a boat ride across the artificial lake to see the Orangutan Sanctuary. Around 4:00 p.m., depart for Penang and check in upon arrival at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure.

After breakfast at the hotel, you depart today for a guided tour that will introduce you to Penang's past and its existing multi-culture, focusing on its colonial history, and British and Chinese settlement. Originally known as Prince of Wales Island, Penang was where Francis Light, under the auspices of the East India Co in 1786, claimed it as the first British possession of the Malay States and Southeast Asia. The first colony was established around the port, with Fort Cornwallis forming the defense of the island. Look at the Chinese houses on stilts, built to avoid paying taxes. Walk along Little India to see how they survived in their ancient trades and how they thrive today in the modern world.
The Peranakan Museum showcases the Baba/Nyonya way of life found only in the Straits settlements of Penang, Malacca and Singapore circa 1832.
Then continue to your Temple & Penang Hill tour where you will visit the Kek Lok Temple Si Si, the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, and later towards Penang Hill. Penang Hill, 830m above sea level, is Penang's largest natural asset and one of the favorite destinations of early settlers. A funicular ride takes you 830m above sea level to the top of Penang Hill where you can admire the Georgetown from a bird's eye view.
Return to the hotel after the visit.

After breakfast, depart early in the morning for a 5-hour journey to Pulau Banding, an artificial island located in the majestic Lake Temenggor in the state of Terengganu where the 130 million-year-old pristine rainforest of Belum is located, where a large number of unique animal and plant species live with potential for the discovery of additional biological treasures.
On arrival, check-in at the station and free at leisure.

09:00 - After breakfast, stroll to the resort pier to take a boat ride on Lake Temenggor, disembarking after an hour for a 15-minute hike in search of Rafflesia, whose Buds are small brown balls emerging from vines that snake through the forest floor.
If you are lucky enough to spot one in flower, it weighs 6-8kg and measures 90cm wide - the largest flower found in the tropical rainforest of Asia.
Return to the boat and take a 45-minute ride to Kejar Hilir to commune with the Orang Asli in their village, see the indigenous way of life, and perhaps purchase handmade items made from bamboo and leaves. pandanus or honey to supplement their daily income.
After 20 minutes with the Orang Asli, depart for Jenut Papan to discover the salt bark where elephants usually come for their mineral intake. After leaving the Salt Lick and upon arrival at Sg Kejar, walk for 15 minutes to Sg Ruok Waterfalls for a picnic at noon and some fun time at the waterfalls until 3 p.m., then return to the boat for the return trip to the station.

Breakfast will be taken at the resort and check-out will be made.
1000hrs - Departure from Belum Rainforest Resort to Kota Bharu. On arrival, check-in and at your leisure.
Overnight in Kota Bharu.
Have breakfast and leave.
Depart for Kuala Besut Jetty and proceed to the resort jetty and check-in your boat for the island. Upon arrival on the island, you will be greeted by resort staff who will explain the resort's facilities. The rest of the day is for leisure and personal activities.

Return by ferry to Kuala Besut then transfer to Kota Bharu Airport, flight to Kuala Lumpur and departure flight connection.
