What to see

Sapa Heaven Gate

This gate is inspired by the Bali Sky Gate, a famous landmark on Bali Island, Indonesia, designed with an architectural style reminiscent of ancient temples. When the Heaven Gate at Moana was first built, it immediately went viral and attracted many visitors due to its striking resemblance to the original.

The floor beneath the gate is made of transparent glass that reflects images like a mirror, allowing visitors to capture stunning photos effortlessly. You don’t need any extra effects or accessories to have a good photo; the only thing you need to do is make the pose and let the stunning background do its thing.

Since the gate is lying at a high spot, it offers a breathtaking view of majestic mountain ranges and the vast blue sky. No matter what time of day you visit, you can always take incredible, picture-perfect shots here.

Moana Statue

The Moana statue is the highlight of this place, which is not surprising given that it shares the same name as the place. The statue is the image of a giant girl with her eyes closed and both hands raised as if she is lifting something toward the vast blue sky. You will be impressed by its grand scale, reaching a total height of 6 meters.

Infinity lake

Like other infinity pools, this one has crystal-clear water that reflects the sky and clouds like a mirror. When sunlight hits the surface, it sparkles as if coated in silver. However, the most unique highlight is the piano placed right in the middle of the pool. This design was inspired by the romantic scene in the famous Korean drama named Crash Landing on You, where Captain Ri, dressed in white, plays the piano by a serene Swiss lake.

The Golden Hand

Another incredibly photogenic spot at Moana Sapa is the giant golden hand. It was built to look like it’s floating in the air, reaching out to embrace the vast, majestic Northwest mountains. On misty days, the scene becomes even more magical, making visitors feel as though they’ve stepped into a dreamy fairyland straight out of a fantasy film.

Lush green forests, golden rice fields, and charming villages nestled among vibrant wildflowers in the distance create a heavenly landscape you won’t want to overlook.

The lonely tree

The tree got its name because it is the only tree standing there on a huge and empty land. Although the tree looks barren and lifeless, it has endured over time, standing tall amidst the enormous sky and land. Its presence creates a striking contrast that can evoke deep emotions.
