The pass is located on National Highway 4C, in Pa Vi and Pai Lung Communes, Meo Vac District, Ha Giang Province. This challenging route stretches about 20 kilometers, passing through Pa Vi and Pai Lung Communes in Meo Vac District and Ta Lung Commune in Dong Van District.
The bus: The night bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang costs around 250,000 VND and takes about 5 hours. Buses normally leave in the evening and arrive in Ha Giang at about 5 a.m. Upon arrival, you can go to a rental shop to rent a motorbike to get Ma Pi Leng.

Motorbike: For those who love adventure, riding a motorbike all the way from Hanoi to Ma Pi Leng is also an option. However, this is a long and physically demanding trip, so proper rest and preparation are essential. It is better with a companion to take turns riding to avoid fatigue.
