Do you want to know a more exclusive Thailand? This Thailand Tour 11 days: Nice Off-the-beaten-track Experience is designed for you. It will allow you to discover remote areas, visit sites less affected by mass tourism and meet the tribes in the North.
You will first visit the country's capital, Bangkok with local and typical markets of the region. Then head for Kanchanaburi, a city that resisted bombing in the summer of 1945. After visiting the sites at the Center, you head north to Thailand to visit Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. This region is one of the most beautiful in the country with magnificent jungles and mountains. In addition to the historical and cultural sites, you will have the opportunity to meet nice local people, to taste specialties, to visit an elephant park,etc.

Itinerary
After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho - the oldest and biggest pagoda in Bangkok with more than 1000 Buddha statues and the huge one sit-back Buddha in gold.
We then continue to board on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offers fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the most beautiful pagoda in Bangkok not only for its location on the Chao Phraya’s riverbank but also for the different architecture from other pagodas. You can climb up to the top of Wat Arun to see Chao Phraya, Grand Palace and Wat Pho at the opposite side, before lunch in a floating restaurant.
Afternoon we visit the Wat Traimit. This pagoda is famous for its unique and historic beauty, and also for the huge golden Buddha statue.
Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok
The day starts with a trip to Mae Klong Railway market; a country market has sprouted up along the tracks. When a train pulls in or out of the station, the vendors quickly clear their stalls, only to set them up again moments later when the train has passed!
From here, the journey continues to very famous touristic Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. A relaxing paddle boat ride through the labyrinth of canals offers the chance to see the old part of the floating market and local lifestyle along the canal side. Off the boat, it is time to enjoy strolling around the colourful floating marketplace bustling with boats and vendors selling tropical fruits and other delights.
For visits falling on a Saturday or Sunday, the tour offers the option of an exploration choosing between visiting Damnoen Saduak or the smaller and less touristy floating market Tha Kha where a short paddle boat tour in the backwaters offering a visit to an old Thai ho Duse making coconut palm suga.
Next, we depart for Kanchanburi where we have chance to visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum, Cemetery. Lunch is served in a floating restaurant next to the Kwai River Bridge. We continue to Wang Pho to feed wild monkeys. Then boarding for a train ride along the railway from Wang Pho to enjoy the beautiful scenery and river around 30 minutes. Pick up and transferby car to hotel. Overnight in Kanchanburi
Situated about 60 km northern away from Bangkok, this palace is called Royal Summer Palace. Being a favorite resort of royal, the Royal Summer palace showcases an eclectic collection of buildings that blend European, Khmer, Thai and Chinese architectural styles.
Later, embark to Temple of Ruins, Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch (The former Royal Temple ), Wat Yai Chai Mongkol (the temple of reclining Buddha Image and biggest chedi), Wat Mahathat (where the head of Lord Buddha Image is coverd by Poh Tree so far), Wat Ratchabura (where the national treasure were kept). After that, return to the hotel in Bangkok and free at leisure.
Overnight in Chiang Saen
Lunch at a local restaurant before continue to Doi Tung or Switzerland of Asia to visit Doi Tung, look no further outstanding than the Mae Fah Luang Garden which is situated at an elevation of 950 meters above sea-level. The Mae Fah Luang Garden consists of flowerbeds planted with a dazzling variety of flowers and shrubs from all corners of the world. A myriad of flowering plants come into bloom all year round and form a splendid hill-side tapestry that changes with the seasons.
After that, transfer to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and free at leisure.
Overnight in Chiang Mai
Doi Pui was once famous for opium cultivation. Trip continues on to Wat Doi Suthep Temple. Driving up, offers a panoramic view of Chiang Mai city. Later on, embark to the San Kamphaeng district, heart of the silk and cotton home industries, to witness the fascinating process of making and weaving these popular fabrics. Continue on the Bor Sang, the umbrella village, where the delicate Thai paper umbrellas are produced and hand-painted. From here, onwards to Thai Celadon, about 6kms north of Chiang Mai, where exquisite ceramics are produced. These are modeled on the Sawankhalok pottery that used to be made hundreds of years ago at Sukhothai and exported all over the region. With its deep, cracked glazed finish the style is very distinctive and some pieces are exceptionally beautiful. Last but not least, are stops to observe the intricacies of both lacquer ware and silverware craftsmen.
