Nan Tour 4 Days: Temples, Farms, and Villages

Embark on a memorable Nan Tour 4 Days as you arrive in Nan and meet with a local guide to explore this newly designated area for sustainable tourism. Your journey begins with a visit to Wat Phumin, a 400-year-old royal temple known for its stunning mural, The Whisper of Love (locally known as Poo Man Ya Man). Next, head to Wat Baan Phra Kerd for a hands-on Tung workshop, where you can craft your own Tung and offer it to the monk for a blessing. 

Continue your tour with a visit to the Noble House, also known as Hong Chao Fongkham, an elevated teak house that once belonged to Chao Fongkham, a descendant of the 62nd ruler of Nan, Chao Anataworarithidej (Note: Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, make your way to Pua, stopping at Wat Sri Mong Khol to take in breathtaking views of the rice fields framed by majestic mountains. 

Visit the Thai Architecture Museum, and on your way, enjoy a stop at Cafe de Tai Lue, a nature lover's paradise offering uninterrupted views of lush rice fields. Arrive here just before sunset to experience the magical atmosphere. Spend the night in Pua, reflecting on a day filled with culture, history, and natural beauty.

On day two of your Nan Tour 4 Days, after breakfast, depart with a local guide to visit an organic cacao farm. Upon arrival, take a guided walk around the farm and learn about its history and the cacao trees that thrive there. Taste fresh, raw cacao directly from the trees and gain insight into the process of selecting pure, organic cacao seeds from a local expert. Next, participate in a hands-on chocolate workshop where black cacao seeds are the main ingredient. At the end of the workshop, receive a custom-made chocolate package as a souvenir to take home. 

Following the workshop, enjoy a delicious Khantoke-style lunch in the Tai Lue village. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Doi Phuka Mountain, known for its stunning panoramic views and the blooming pink Phuka flowers. On the way, stop by the Boklua district, a small mountain community renowned for its production of unique rock salt. Visit a local factory to observe the salt-making process. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your leisure. Overnight in Boklua, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the mountains.

On day three of your Nan Tour 4 Days, enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to Khun Nan National Park for a refreshing morning immersed in nature's beauty. Begin with a leisurely hike through the lush green forest, leading you to the Sapan Waterfall, a lovely three-tiered waterfall within the park. While none of the tiers are particularly high, they offer stunning views, with the highest tier located about 3 km into the forest. Descend to the lowest tier and reach Ban Sapan, a charming village surrounded by mountains and rivers. During the rainy season, the vibrant green landscape and lush rice fields make this area particularly picturesque. After exploring the village and waterfall, return to your base. The afternoon is free for you to relax or enjoy the surroundings at your leisure. Overnight in Boklua, where you can unwind and appreciate the serene mountain setting.

Morning breakfast, then transfer to Nan for your departure flight. End of service.
