On the first day of your Phong Nha & Hue Tour 3 Days, your guide and driver will pick you up in Dong Hoi and take you to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
The first stop is Paradise Cave, discovered by the British Caving Research Association in 2005. As the longest dry cave in Asia, Paradise Cave features stunning stalactites, crystal formations, and a unique landscape that will leave you in awe.
After exploring the cave, continue to Phong Nha Cave, a river cave accessible by boat along the scenic Son River. Inside, discover the beauty of the underground river and its spectacular limestone formations.
Afterward, visit the famous Sand Hill Quang Binh and enjoy a stop at Nhat Le Beach for some relaxation. End the day with a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay in Dong Hoi.
On Day 2 of your Phong Nha & Hue Tour 3 Days, after breakfast, check out of your hotel and head to the DMZ Quang Tri to explore the historic landmarks of the region. Visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels, a symbol of resilience and ingenuity during the war, where you can walk through the underground tunnels that once served as shelters for villagers, complete with living spaces and military facilities. Then, visit the 17th Parallel, the historical boundary that divided North and South Vietnam, and stop at the Hien Luong Bridge and Ben Hai River, which carry the poignant memories of Vietnam's division.
Enjoy lunch before continuing to La Vang Holy Land, a revered pilgrimage site for Catholics in Vietnam. Afterward, head to Hue, where you will check into your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing "dragon boat ride" along the Perfume River, listening to traditional Hue music and releasing floating flowers for peace and prosperity.
On the final day of your Phong Nha & Hue Tour 3 Days, start with breakfast before embarking on a journey through Hue Citadel, the historic royal palace of the Nguyen Dynasty. Explore the majestic Ngo Mon Gate, the grand Thai Hoa Palace, the serene Forbidden City, and other significant sites like The Temple of Hien Lam and the Cuu Dinh. Next, visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous temples in Vietnam, situated on the banks of the Perfume River.
After lunch, continue your exploration with visits to the Tomb of Khai Dinh, known for its intricate blend of Eastern and Western architectural styles, and the peaceful Minh Mang Tomb, a site that harmonizes perfectly with nature and reflects profound cultural values.
