Your Chiang Mai Trekking & Cycling Tour 7 Days continues with a morning dedicated to exploring the old city. You'll visit the ancient wall, the moat, and one of the city's historic gates. Discover the most beautiful temples in Chiang Mai, including Wat Phra Singh, Wat Phan Tao, and Wat Chedi Luang. Next, enjoy a leisurely stroll through streets lined with traditional houses, followed by a scenic rickshaw ride. The tour then takes you to Warorot Market, Chiang Mai's bustling central market.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the iconic Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most famous pagoda in Chiang Mai, accessed via a staircase of 290 steps adorned with giant naga sculptures. From the top, take in the stunning views of the entire Chiang Mai Valley.

Following this, explore the local craft villages, where you can see traditional lacquerware, silk weaving, umbrella making, wood carvings, and goldsmith work.

Return to your hotel in the evening, with free time to visit the vibrant night market.

On today's itinerary of the Chiang Mai Trekking & Cycling Tour 7 Days, we head to Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest peak in Thailand, located about two hours from Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, we embark on a 2-3 hour trek through the dense jungle, following a narrow mountain trail leading to a breathtaking hidden waterfall surrounded by lush greenery.

Continuing our trek, we pass through scenic farmlands featuring coffee plantations, vibrant flower farms, and picturesque rice terraces before reaching the Pagagayaw Karen hill tribe village. Here, you’ll have the chance to meet the locals and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee made from locally grown beans. Next, we visit the majestic Vachiratharn Waterfall, a stunning 70-meter cascade, where you can take in the refreshing mist and cool mountain air.

Afterwards, we explore the impressive architecture of Napamaytanidol Chedi and Phra Mahathat Napaphon Bhumisiri, built to commemorate the 60th birthdays of King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit. We then return to Chiang Mai for a relaxing evening.

As part of the Chiang Mai Trekking & Cycling Tour 7 Day, today’s adventure takes us on a scenic cycling route through the green countryside of Chiang Mai. We’ll explore the historic Wiang Kum Kam, once the capital of the Lanna Empire, and visit ancient temples and ruins along the way. We’ll stop at the McKean Rehabilitation Center, once a leper colony, and visit a local elementary school attended by hill tribe children.

The tour continues to a small pottery workshop, where you can watch craftsmen at work, followed by a ride along the Ping River to take in the local charm. We’ll stop at a bakery for a sweet treat and explore a vibrant market, sampling exotic fruits and snacks. This cycling tour offers a unique insight into the hidden gems and cultural traditions of Chiang Mai.

On today's Chiang Mai Trekking & Cycling Tour 7 Days, we head to Mae Rim area, starting with a visit to a local market to explore a variety of fresh vegetables and fruits from the hill tribes. Next, we stop at Mok Pah Waterfall for a swim and relaxation.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we drive to a remote Karen village and begin a 3.5-hour trek through lush jungle, experiencing the untouched nature and learning about the unique culture of the hill tribe. In the evening, walk around the village to observe the local lifestyle, followed by a special session where we feed and bathe the elephants in the river. Enjoy dinner with traditional entertainment led by the guide.

On this day of the Chiang Mai Trekking & Cycling Tour 7 Days, we begin with a 1-hour trek to the Mae Tang River for an exciting bamboo rafting experience. Enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour raft journey (depending on water levels) along the river, stopping at the Lahu hill tribe village, Bann Pong Ngan. We continue to Shan village, Bann Sob Kai, for a late lunch. 

Afterwards, we return to Chiang Mai by local truck. Note: Rafting may be cancelled if water levels are too high.
