On the morning, boarding on boat and cruising towards Bagan. In each village, women and children will come to you to offer you drink and food, or anything showing the originality of local handicraft.
Lunch on board. Comfortably settled on the upper deck you will discover the local life of the river and its shores: fishermen villages, buffalos, wheat fields, floating markets, washerwomen…
Stop at Yandabo village, famous for its handicraft of terra cotta pottery, made possible thanks to the clay collected on the shores of the river. Visit of handicraft workshops. The village is also known for being the place where the treaty of Yandabo was signed on February 24th, 1826, ending the first of Anglo-Burmese wars. Continuation of the cruise towards Bagan. Dinner and night on board.

Continuation of the cruise to Bagan. Breakfast and lunch on board. You will discover Myingyan, and visit the Soon Lu Kyaung and Bodhi Dat Taw Taik monasteries, houses of Buddha’s relics. You will be able to observe traditional villages with bamboo-made houses and thatched roofs, along with plantations of betel. You will go to the beautiful village of Sinphyu with its colonial-style monasteries. Return on the boat. Dinner and night on board.
