"The Shining Spirit of Vietnam" depicts prisoners’ lives in Hoa Lo Prison. In the evening atmosphere, visitors can truly feel the harshness of the colonial prison regime. The brutal torture inflicted by the wardens moved many to tears. But after every torture, Vietnamese prisoners shared their pain with comrades, encouraging each other that these days would pass.
