How to get to Boun Neua

  • By bus: buses departing directly from Oudomxay, Luang Prabang, and Vientiane. It's eight hours from Oudomxay.
  • By air: Lao Capricorn Air, a domestic airline, departs Vientiane four times a week. Schedule for 2022 is 9:00 VTE – PSL and 11:30 PSL – VTE on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The trip takes 1.5 hours. The cost is approximately 1,300,000 Kip per way.
