Pangkor, with its mix of charming fishing villages and beach resorts, is an incredible tourist destination. It offers the visitor a rare opportunity to rub shoulders with fishermen and thus observe their way of life, but also to be able to simply enjoy the fine sandy beaches and the facilities of the different seaside resorts.

The fishermen live in small villages scattered on the eastern coast, facing the towns of Lumut and Teluk Batik. Pasir Bogak and Teluk Nipah, the two most popular beaches in Pangkor, offer many activities for sun and sea lovers. You can notably practice scuba diving or snorkeling, windsurfing, and fishing.

The beaches of Teluk Ketapang and Turtle Bay are pilgrimage sites for turtles coming to bury their eggs there. Some of the island's resorts also have excellent golf courses. There are a lot of things to do in Pangkor!
