Overview

Welcome to our North Thailand Trekking Tour 5 days: Chiang Mai's Tribes and Elephants. The first day, you start with a wonderful hike through the forest, waterfalls and villages. You will spend the night in a traditional Karen village and learn about their culture and language. Get your hands dirty for a few hours at the interesting royal farm project before going down the road again. Enjoy a relaxing bamboo raft trip before heading to the charming Mae Win Guest House. On the next day, you will participate in a friendly experience for elephants. We will first visit the waterfall of Mae Sapok where you can swim. Then, it's time for an unforgettable encounter with the elephants of Tong Bai Elephant Foundation. You can know more about elephants. You will meet them closely, feed them, walk with them and bathe them in the river.

Welcome you on arrival at Chiang Mai. Today you will relax to be ready for starting the trekking tour on the next day.

Begin the day, we will transfer you to the starting point. En route, we stop at the local market to buy something you may need on our way for some next days.
Walk to a waterfall to take a rest and you might want to go swimming. After that, we walk through the forest for 2 hours, reaching Baan Huai Hoi – the village of Karen community and having lunching there.
After lunch, we continue 2 more hours trekking to Baan Huai Kao Lip – another Karen village. En route, we stop at the waterfall to relax. Reaching Baan Huai Kao Lip, you can wander explore the village by yourself or you can communicate with the Karen people.

Waking up in the sound of roasters, our guide will prepare the breakfast for you.
Today morning, we trek to another Karen village – Baan Mae Sapok to visit. Then we go to such a beautiful waterfall to relax, swim and enjoy the nature. Lunch will be prepared by our guide.
After lunch, we drive to a raft camping, where you can have the opportunity to experience being on bamboo raft on Wang river for about 45 minutes.
Proceed to Mae Win for overnight.

This morning is scheduled to visit Mae Sapok waterfall to fall into the cool water streams. Mae Sapok waterfall is a part of the Op Khan National Park. This is a small waterfall, originated form Mae Sapok River, located in the area of Mae Sapok Royal Project.
Heading back to Mae Win, we will be welcomed by the elephant professor of Tong Bai Foundation of Elephants. There are 4 elephants served for you to take part in the elephants show. The professor will introduce thoroughly about the elephants and Asian elephants. You can try feeding them if you want.
After having lunch with Thailand specialties, you and the elephants go to river, where both of you have a bath together. It is such an excited and memorable experience.
Back to the camp and say goodbye to cute elephants and the professor, you even can receive a testimonial before return Chiang Mai.

In the last day of tour, we visit Elephant Poopoo Paper Park, which is an eco-friendly, naturally built, outdoor museum park that introduces and explains the unique steps involved in making our much talked about paper products from elephant poop fibers!
Return to the hotel for checking-out then we transfer you to the airport, taking a flight to the next destination. End of our service.
