Indonesia is nicknamed the "Sleeping Giant" of Southeast Asia, famous for its temples, historical relics and beautiful beaches. The country is becoming an attractive tourist destination for international visitors. By this tour, we will take you to explore Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali. You will have the opportunity to visit its art galleries, paintings, spas, kite flying and stroll among the beautiful rice fields. In addition, meeting locals and participating in their daily activities will help you get a deep understand of local life. Then, attend the Batik class to make your scarf and visit Goa Gajah (elephant cave) to discover the island's wildlife. Your journey will end with a visit to Sanur where renowned with its former fishing villages.

Itinerary

Ubud is in many ways Bali's cultural heart. It's in the cool mountains, just an hour's drive north of the airport. This traditional country town is home to one of Bali's royal families. You can even visit the majestic palace in the centre of town. Ubud is also well known as a flourishing crafts centre.

The park has one of the world’s largest collections of birds of paradise. It is a sanctuary for nearly 1,000 birds, including one of the world’s rarest, the almost wholly white Bali starling. The park is set within a 5-acre (2-hectare) botanical garden featuring more than 2,000 tropical plants and an amazing array of butterflies.
After the excursion, you will be served lunch at a local restaurant.
The rest of day is on you own. Enjoy the charm of Ubud with your family.

Afterward, have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will drive to the north on the mountain roads and stop at Jatiluwih rice terraces. You can stroll around to enjoy the cool air and splendid landscape in here.
Once a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site candidate, Jatiluwih rice terraces comprises over 600Ha of rice fields that follow the flowing hillside topography of the Batukaru mountain range. The site is one of the island’s must-see natural panoramas on par with Mount Batur and the caldera of Kintamani. The cool highlands and the breathtaking scenery of this village at the foot of Mount Batukaru makes for wonderful photo opportunities, and serves as a soothing retreat away from the island’s crowded south.
Then return to hotel and rest after a long day.

You will have chance to make a batik scarf by yourself. It will a really organised workshop from start to end, with a dedicated staff explaining and guiding through every step. After course, you will get a nice self diy batik scarf as a souvenir.
Spend the rest of day at leisuire.

Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometres out of central Ubud, Goa Gajah’s name is slightly misleading, lending the impression that it’s a gigantic dwelling full of elephants. Nevertheless, Goa Gajah ‘Elephant Cave’ is an archaeological site of significant historical value that makes it a special place to visit with its relic-filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains.
Then pay a visit to Taman Safari
Taman Safari, Modern Zoological Garden with Various Collections of Flora and Fauna. It is located in Bogor city and spread about 87 hectares with the impressive out-of-town Bogor Presidential Palace fronting it and soaring Mt. Salak at its background and boasts over 400 species of palm trees, 5,000 trees gathered from around the tropical world, and an orchid house containing 3,000 varieties. Records show that the Bogor Botanical Gardens harbours 3,504 plant species, 1,273 genus in 199 families.
As having lunch at a local restaurant, we continue to drive to the hotel to Sanur. The rest of day is free for you to explore splendid Sanur by night.
