The majestic Perfume River stretches for some 80 kilometers, playing a vital role in the formation of the ancient city from its beginnings. It has also been an essential source of life for the people of Hue for centuries. The region's most iconic attractions, from tombs to temples to local villages, nestled along the banks of this river, adding a unique dimension to the city's history and daily life.
Highlights
- You will travel up the Perfume River and take a break to visit Thien Mu Pagoda.

Itinerary
At 8:00 a.m. or 12:30 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in downtown Hue and take you to the boat station, where we will embark on a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River.
Heading up the river, you will make a must-see stop at Thien Mu Pagoda, also known as the Heavenly Lady Pagoda, an iconic symbol of Hue. Admire the 7-story Phuoc Duyen Tower, a famous link to Thien Mu Pagoda. Explore the artistic treasures of the pagoda, such as the Dai Hong Chung Bell, the Dai Hung Shrine, the Main Hall, the car left in 1963 by senior Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc, as well as the tower of senior Buddhist monk Thich Don Hau. (Important note: Please wear clothing that covers your knees during your visit.)
Returning to your private dragon boat, you will then drive to Hon Chen Temple, a place of worship dedicated to the goddess Thien Ya Na, representing the religion of the Cham people. Located on the bank of the Perfume River, this temple houses an impressive collection of objects inherited from the past.
The next leg of your dragon boat adventure will take us to Minh Mang Tomb, a perfect fusion of natural beauty and architecture in the sublime setting of Hue Tomb. Built in 1840 on the orders of King Minh Mang, this majestic tomb is renowned as the most beautiful and imposing of the Nguyen dynasty.
At 11:00 or 16:00, our driver will pick you up from Minh Mang Tomb to take you to Dong Ba Market, the largest and oldest local market in Hue. Explore hundreds of stalls offering a variety of delicious local dishes, colorful fruits, and various produce. Immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of this market, experiencing Hue's traditional trading methods and vibrant lifestyle.
