Itineraries

We welcome you in the morning at our Saigon lounge, where you can enjoy a second coffee while our staff collects your details. Leaving the city's bustle behind, we travel 70 km south to My Tho to board our vessel.

After checking into your luxurious floating home, our journey along the Mekong begins. Enjoy a lunch buffet as we sail upstream, then mingle with fellow travelers over canapés and prosecco at sunset.

By dinner, we anchor near Tan Phong Island, offering a first glimpse of tomorrow’s adventure. End the night with classic films or documentaries at our onboard cinema.

Morning

  • Start the day with Tai Chi at sunrise and a lavish breakfast buffet.
  • Cai Be & Tan Phong Island Tour: Visit a rice paper & coconut candy workshop, taste tropical fruits, and see water hyacinth weaving.
  • Optional: Cooking experience (Jayavarman) or Cycling tour (The Jahan, extra cost).

Midday

  • Relax on your private balcony or at the bar as we sail upstream.

 Afternoon - Binh Thanh Island

  • Discover traditional mat-making and meet local artisans.
  • Optional: Cycling tour (The Jahan, extra cost) through scenic backstreets & rice paddies.

Evening

  • Mekong Delta presentation before dinner as we sail toward Tan Chau for the night.

After the morning Tai Chi session and breakfast, we explore Tan Chau, known for its aquaculture.

Morning Excursion (any ship): Travel by xeloi (rickshaw) through town, visiting a local market, Cao Dai temple, and a family-run fish farm to learn about their trade.

Optional Excursions:

  • The Jahan (Cycling, extra cost): Ride through a lush island, stopping at a fruit market, frog farm, and a traditional mat-weaving workshop (12 km, flat terrain).

Afternoon: Sail towards Phnom Penh, crossing into Cambodia. Enjoy leisure time with spa treatments, sun deck relaxation, or a culinary workshop on Vietnamese and Cambodian dishes. Docking at Phnom Penh by evening.

Welcome to Phnom Penh, once known as the "Paris of the East." Despite modern growth, the city retains its rustic charm and rich history.

Full-Day Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, we begin our tour with a cyclo ride through the city, followed by visits to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. We then explore the harrowing history of the Khmer Rouge era at the "S21" prison. After a delightful lunch in town, we visit the renowned "Sosoro" history museum and take a leisurely stroll through the French Quarter, ending at the iconic Wat Phnom.

Evening Activities

Join an expert lecture in the lounge before enjoying an open-air barbecue and gala dinner, complete with a traditional Apsara dance performance. Afterward, explore Phnom Penh’s vibrant nightlife or relax along the scenic river promenade.

 

As dawn breaks, we sail into the scenic Tonle River, a natural wonder of Cambodia.

Morning Excursions

Default (Any Ship): Ride an ox-cart through the picturesque Kampong Tralach countryside, passing rice paddies and winding back roads. Visit a local NGO school and library project or explore a 300-year-old temple and Buddha shrine.

Optional:

  • Cycling (The Jahan only, extra cost): Ride 14 km through the Tonle Region, passing the historic ‘Lungvek’ royal palace and the 16th-century Buddha Jade Temple, while observing local fishermen at work.

Afternoon Excursions

Default (Any Ship): Arrive at Kampong Laeang, opposite the famous pottery town of Kampong Chhnang. Take a tuk-tuk ride through rural villages, learn about pottery-making, and visit a pre-Angkorian temple with panoramic views of floodplains and rice fields.

Optional:

  • Culinary (Jayavarman only): Join a cooking demonstration to prepare “Nom Kruak,” a popular Cambodian rice cake snack.
  • Cycling (The Jahan only, extra cost): Ride 17 km through villages and rice paddies, stopping at pottery workshops and palm sugar producers.

Evening Onboard

Enjoy a poolside sundowner with music, followed by dinner and an evening cinema. We begin sailing downstream toward Tonle Sap, where we anchor for the night.

 

Morning Excursion (Any Ship)

Begin with a walking tour of Kampong Luang, known as the Silver Smith Village, where skilled artisans craft copper, silver, and bronze into beautiful souvenirs. Next, visit the Royal Buddhist Temple, Wat Prang, where the bones of Cambodia’s King Father are enshrined. Engage with monks to learn about their daily rituals and spiritual traditions.

Afternoon Excursion (Any Ship)

Discover the silk-weaving village of Prek Bangkong, once home to the Royal family. Witness the entire silk production process and conclude with a visit to the heritage house of H.E. Sam-El, a renowned royal architect.

Optional:

  • Cycling (The Jahan only, extra cost): Ride 14 km through scenic landscapes, stopping at Lavea Em, the former royal palace (1601-1618), silk weaving workshops, and historic pagodas. Enjoy a tea break at H.E. Sam-El’s residence.

Evening Onboard

Sail up the Mekong while enjoying a poolside sundowner with music, followed by dinner and an evening cinema.

Morning Excursion (Any Ship)

After a refreshing Tai Chi session, we explore Angkor Ban, home to a charming monastery and a welcoming local village. Meet monks during their morning class and engage with villagers, capturing authentic moments of Cambodia’s rustic lifestyle.

Optional:

  • Culinary (Jayavarman only): Visit a former ship chef’s home to prepare Samlor Korko, a traditional fish soup, alongside his family.
  • Cycling (The Jahan only, extra cost): Ride 10 km through vegetable fields and old houses, visit a blacksmith workshop, and end with a refreshing sugar cane juice or local beer.

We sail toward Kampong Cham during lunch.

Afternoon Excursion (Any Ship)

In Kampong Cham, an important trade hub, we visit Cheung Kok village, where artisans craft handmade goods. The seasonal Bamboo Bridge is a fascinating glimpse into the region’s past.

Optional:

  • Cycling (The Jahan only, extra cost): A 16 km ride through Koh Pen Island, passing vegetable fields, tobacco plantations, and a Khmer bee farm, offering insight into rural Cambodian life.

Evening Onboard

The ship makes its final journey, mooring near Stueng Trang with farewell celebrations and party vibes.

Enjoy a final breakfast aboard before disembarking for a 4-hour bus transfer to Siem Reap. Along the way, our guides will share fascinating insights about Cambodia and its landscapes.
