Thailand will replace the traditional paper TM6 form with the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) from May 1, 2025. All international travellers, whether arriving by air, land, or sea, will be required to complete the TDAC form online before arriving in Thailand.
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is an online entry form that replaces the traditional TM6 paper-based arrival card. All international travellers must complete it within 72 hours before arriving in Thailand to ensure a faster and more efficient immigration process.

Reduce waiting time: Travelers no longer have to fill out the paper TM6 form on the plane or at the airport, making the immigration process faster and improving accuracy in tracking travelers in Thailand.
Minimize data entry errors: Filling out the form online reduces mistakes caused by unclear handwriting, thereby avoiding the need to resubmit information.
Easier tracking and disease control: In case of a medical emergency, authorities can quickly contact and assist travelers based on the information provided.
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card is required for all travellers, regardless of whether they hold a visa. However, two categories of passengers are exempt:

4. Complete Health Declaration
You must then complete the health declaration by listing any countries you have visited within the recent 14 days. The Thai Ministry of Public Health requires this practice to monitor and reduce health hazards for arriving tourists.
5. Review & Confirm Information
After entering all of the necessary information, you will be given a summary of your application. Check all of the provided information for mistakes. If you find any problems, make the necessary modifications before proceeding.
6. Provide an Email Address
Give a real email address in the next step. Your TDAC will be sent to that address as a PDF file. You need to have an email account that you can view while you're travelling because you will need this document when you get to Thailand.

Do I need to print out the TDAC?
It is not mandatory. You can store the QR code on your phone, but it is recommended to print a backup paper copy in case your electronic device doesn't work or loses internet connection.
What if I forget to fill out TDAC?
You can complete the TDAC form online at the airport if internet access is available. However, this may cause delays and affect your immigration process. It is best to complete the form 1–2 days before the trip.
Is there a limit to how many times I can fill out TDAC?
No, there isn't. You can resubmit the form if you need to update your information or correct an error. However, only one valid TDAC form should be used upon arrival in Thailand.
Does the TDAC website support English?
Yes. The official site "https://tdac.immigration.go.th" supports English and is very user-friendly.
The deployment of TDAC represents Thailand's efforts to modernise its immigration system, making it more simple and secure for international visitors. Hopefully, with the information provided above, you will have a smoother voyage into our country.
