If you are looking for some activities like trekking through the rainforest, swimming at the base of a waterfall... This is a wonderful choice for you! Where you can find in Batang Ai National Park, in addition, you can also experience a special structure of Iban village - the long house.

The clear river, cool waterfalls, amazing forest, orangutan, and the vibrant culture of the iban all combine to make a trip to Batang Ai a true Borneo adventure - what a memorable trip!

Broga Hill, Selangor

Bukit Broga or Broga Hill, is the only hill or mountain in peninsular Malaysia covered in lalang grass instead of trees so the views from the top are excellent. This hill is also one of the best places of hiking traits within the easy range of Kuala Lumpur (only 400 meters high.)

This well-marked hiking spot sees droves of bikers in the morning, hoping to scale its three main peaks. Visit on weekdays for fewer crowds and visit during the dry months for better weather. Because of the grass-covered, some parts are quite slippery with steep slopes, that's why you should prepare hiking shoes with good grip for safety reasons.

In case you love hiking, love nature, and want an aerial view of surroundings, you can consider putting this place on your travel list. It doesn't disappoint

Crab Island, Selangor

Pulau Ketam is a small village located off the coast of Klang, Malaysia, where some of the best seafood can be found. Indeed, Crab Island is an underrated and less-tourist travel destination just waiting for you to explore.

Tourists would like to call Pulau Ketam "Crab Island” because, unlike the usual, idyllic islands of Malaysia, Pulau Ketam is a mangrove swap, built out of necessity for the fishermen of this area. Once you get down the jetty, you will know why, tons of little crabs walking around the muddy plains.

It will be the best place if you want to try seafood at a reasonable price and want to enjoy a peaceful life in this traditional village via cycle on rent.

Chini Lake, Pahang

Located in Paken District, Pahang, Malaysia, Chini Lake (Tasik Chini) shores are inhabited by the Orang Asli people, an indigenous ethnic group of Malaysia. Some interesting legends about this area are a dragon called the Naga Seri Gumum (sometimes referred to as “Malaysia’s Loch Ness Monster”) lived in the lake, and it’s believed to contain an ancient sunken Khmer city at the bottom.

Whether it’s true or not, the story was intriguing enough to make this place become a curious place for many people. Not only that, here are some suggested activities for you to discover Chini Lake, such as ATV, archery, fishing, kayaking, feeding fish, and a boat tour… all of these will make your trip unforgettable.

This proved a pleasant way to escape if needed to get out of the tourist and city buzz but no longer able to jungle trekking.

Madai Waterfall, Sabah

one of the best waterfalls in Malaysia is located in one of the less explored places in the country, The Madai Waterfall in Kunak (a small town in Lahad Datu), Sabah, is a 40-meter waterfall that can be found at the Madai Baturong Nature Center.

Madai Waterfall is a gorgeous spot that will leave you in awe. This beautiful waterfall flows down rocky cliffs and splashes into clear pools, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of tropical birds, it’s a peaceful escape for anyone looking to unwind.

If you have the opportunity to visit the waterfall, take a swim and enjoy the lush jungles around you. If you’re planning on camping there, it’ll be good to bring a mosquito repellent with you.

Bau, Sarawak

Consider about 2 beautiful limestone caves (including the Wind Cave and the Fairy Cave) and 2 important historical events in Bau, Sarawak - a great mining town is a good idea for your weekend getaway.

Most of the people living in Bau are the Bidayuh (Land Dayak) people. You can learn more about their culture and traditions at Bung Bratak, a Bidayuh early settlement that is considered a historical site to the Bidayuh community in Bau. It’s a great spot to connect with the local heritage and enjoy the beautiful scenery!

Kapas Island, Terengganu

Not too far from two famous islands Renhang and Perhentian, Kapas Island is smaller, and for that reason, it receives fewer visits. That also means that the island is quieter than its neighboring islands.

It may be a small island, but it offers you what any other island can give you: relaxation, swimming and snorkeling time, and a good sunbath. What makes it a little more special is its low-key profile.

On this island, you can enjoy the coral reefs under the clear water, but make sure to watch out for the jellyfish and sea urchins, better not to touch them or you will be in trouble! Nevertheless, if you’re lucky, you can also spot a black-tip shark by the reef!

Conclusion

You also avoid the groups of tourists and get inside the rich culture, along with the breathtakingly beautiful landscapes that make Malaysia unique. Now, pack your baggage, mark this list, and get ready to fly for an unforgettable adventure.
