U Minh Thuong National Park is situated approximately 50 km away from both Rach Gia city and Ho Chi Minh City, with the latter being around 364 km distant. Regardless of your starting province, reaching Rach Gia city is a necessary initial step. Once in Rach Gia, there are two primary transportation options to access U Minh Thuong:
Coach: Departing from Rach Soi and Rach Gia bus stations, passenger bus routes travel from Rach Soi to Ca Mau bus station. Passengers can take this route and disembark at the Cong Can intersection. From there, it is advisable to hire a motorbike taxi from local residents to reach U Minh Thuong National Park.
Motorbike: Opting for a motorbike journey to U Minh Thuong National Park involves starting from Rach Gia and proceeding straight along Highway 63 until reaching the Cong Can intersection. At this point, make a right turn and travel towards Hoa Mai Lake, continuing for another 8 km to arrive at U Minh Thuong.
