Suoi Giang is distinguished for its famous hundred-year-old Shan Tuyet trees. The youngest trees are over a hundred years old, and the oldest ones are over 300 years old. Young buds grow green on rough, white-mold tea trunks, firmly clinging to the roots on the steep mountainside, creating a unique and unforgettable tea garden landscape.

The tea is picked and processed with the experience and skillful hands of the Mong people, covering the tea buds with a layer of white, so it is called Snow (Tuyet) Tea. Shan Tuyet tea has all the top qualities with a pure fragrance, rich taste, and green water.
Similar to other ethnic groups, people at Suoi Giang also have a place called Heaven Gate, which is considered the boundary between the mortal and immortal worlds. Standing on the top of the slope, visitors will be overwhelmed by the majestic scenery of green forests and Tap Lang commune hidden in the white clouds. Enjoying the fresh, airy atmosphere is a great experience.

The location of the Ancestral Tea Tree is marked by a plaque carved on a green stone slab typical of the Van Chan region. Over hundreds of years, the Ancestral Tea Tree has gradually lost its vitality. However, for the local people, the Ancestral Tea Tree still has a special meaning and is a place that attracts tourists to visit.
Suoi Giang has many specialties of the Mong people to enjoy such as Yen Bai dried buffalo meat, “carried-under-arm” pigs, wild vegetables, corn wine, ... and extremely unique strange dishes, blended in the flavor of ancient tea such as grilled meat wrapped in tea leaves, young tea leaves eaten raw with herbs.
