South Thailand Tour 9 days: Wonderful Trip

After breakfast, we will start our visit to the Grand Royal Palace, which includes 3 main sites: Royal Palace, Royal Office and pagodas (Wat) built in 1770s. Nowadays, most of national significant events takes place there.

After visiting this complex, we continue to visit Wat Pho - the oldest and biggest pagoda in Bangkok with more than 1000 Buddha statues and the huge one sit-back Buddha in gold. 

We then continue to board on a long tail boat for an excursion along the Chao Phraya River and many bustling interior canals that offers fantastic views of local life close by. Along the way, we stop at Wat Arun, the most beautiful pagoda in Bangkok not only for its location on the Chao Phraya’s riverbank but also for the different architecture from other pagodas. You can climb up to the top of Wat Arun to see Chao Phraya, Grand Palace and Wat Pho at the opposite side, before lunch in a floating restaurant.

Afternoon we visit the Wat Traimit. This pagoda is famous for its unique and historic beauty, and also for the huge golden Buddha statue.

Return to the hotel and free time for relaxation. Overnight at hotel in Bangkok
 
 

Today we will enjoy a scenic ride to Khao Sok National Park, known as one of the oldest and most visually spectacular rainforests in the world and home to the man-made Cheow Larn Lake. The forests here are with thick with vibrant-green foliage, gorging waterfalls, towering limestone cliffs and an incredibly picturesque lake. It's also home to many species of animals.
 
On arrival, take the Bamboo rafting along the Sok River. Lunch and afternoon you will enjoy the Elephant trekking in the jungle and visit waterfall. Overnight in tree-house
 

Today we will travel by a pick-up truk through the jungle to the tranquil Cheow Larn Lake.
Cheow Lan Lake is known as the real jewel of Khao Sok National Park. The national park area is inhabited by a range of birds, mammals, reptiles as well as forest residents. 
 
From here board a traditional long-tail boat to a floating raft house on the lake. Spend the day swimming, tubing and exploring the nearby caves of the lake while surrounded by towering jungle-clad karst formations.
 

Wake up after a refreshing night surrounded by the wild natural beauty of Khao Sok, we continue to the port and catch a ferry to Koh Samui, located in the Gulf of Thailand. You will enjoy its beautiful beaches, tropical trees, exotic fish and resplendent corals  as well as joining in different activities such as snorkeling, diving…

After revealing the island, we head back to your hotel for a well-deserved good night’s sleep
 

After breakfast start to discover this island with a half day tour to Big Buddha temple- a golden statue of Buddha 12 meters high, sitting at the top of a staircase richly decorated with dragons. At the Northeast tip of the island not far from the Big Buddha, It is Chinese bouddist temple of Wat Plai Laem, especially recognizable by its huge statue of Guanyin (Guanyin, with 18 arms, the goddess of Mercy and Compassio). Afterwards, head back to your hotel and get some rest.
 

Embark a ferry today and head to Koh Tao, an island in the Gulf of Thailand about 70 kilometers from the coast. His name means "Turtle Island". This island is a Royal property. Koh Tao is a world famous scuba diving spot. 

Lunch and the rest of time would be free at your own. After exploring the island's natural wonders, head back to your hotel for some relaxation, or enjoy a cocktail while soaking up the salty air and ocean breeze
 

Enjoy a cruise to a spectacular outer reef for a day of snorkeling. While exploring the prismatic waters of the area, witness the spectacular natural beauty of the coral reef and spot an abundance of tropical reef fish, stingrays, turtles, and even sharks. If you’re lucky, depending on the season, there is even the chance to see whale sharks. After a day of fun, sun and marine exploration, head back to your hotel and enjoy one final evening on the island.
