Phongsaly Trekking Tour 4 Days: Cultural Immersion

After breakfast, we begin our journey with a private car transfer to Hatsa, and then continue to the Nam Ou River Dam. From there, we board a boat for a 45-minute upstream trip. Once we disembark, we start our trek towards Ban Sopngam, passing through jungle and bamboo forests. Upon reaching Ban Sopngam, a Laoseng Tribe village, we take time to explore before continuing our trek up into the mountainous area.

We’ll have lunch at the top of a higher mountain, and then continue along the slopes of the mountains until we reach Ban Peryenxangmai, an Akha tribe village. We will spend the night with local families at Ban Peryenxangmai, immersing ourselves in the village's culture.

After breakfast, we begin our trek towards Akha tribe villages, including Ban Peryenxangkao and Ban Naporxang. Today’s journey takes us through young forests and upland rice fields, eventually reaching Ban Peryenxangkao. After lunch at the village, we continue our trek towards Ban Naporxang, passing through more upland rice fields, dense jungles, and climbing to the top of the mountains. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding nature before arriving at Ban Naporxang, where we will spend the night.

After breakfast, we begin our trek along the mountain ridges, offering stunning landscapes and excellent photo opportunities of the surrounding nature. We will reach Ban Seochaikao, an Akha village, where we’ll enjoy lunch.

After lunch, we continue our trek to two more villages located on higher mountains. In the late afternoon, we arrive at Ban Paicho, where we will spend the night, experiencing the local culture and tranquil environment.

After breakfast and exploring the village, we begin our descent to a small stream. Along the way, we pass through upland rice fields, enjoying the stunning views of endless mountains. We continue walking along a small river until we reach the Nam Ou River.

Here, we board a private boat for a downstream ride on the Nam Ou River, heading towards the Power Dam. After disembarking, we take a private car to Hatsa, where we enjoy lunch. Following lunch, we continue our drive back to Phongsaly town.
