Laos is perfectly suited for adventure travel. We have designed the tour “Laos Trip 10 days: Paradise for Adventurer” for the visitor to explore deeper into undiscovered Laos while taking advantage of the country’s endless opportunities for adventure. The natural sights, temple heights, and mystery caves are as unforgettable as they are unmissable. On this trip, go on high-octane adventures in Vang Vieng, learn cool customs in Luang Prabang, and see the historical wonders of Vientiane.

Itinerary
Arriving at Wattay International Airport , after clearing immigration and customs, you will be welcomed and privately transferred to a hotel in the city center.
Check in hotel and have a short rest.
In the afternoon, we will first visit the oldest Wat Sisaket which is not the only temple that was destroyed during the invasion of the Siamese army and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo.
We then discover a national symbol of Laos - That Luang Stupa or the Great Stupa which is coverd with gold.
The last sights would be Patuxay Monument which is famous for Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph.
In the evening, we will have chance to experience the Lao Culture by enjoying the traditional dance & folk song when dinner is served.
You are free at leisure.
Overnight in Vientiane
In the early morning, star your trip with National Park at Phou Khao Khuay which is far from 40 kilometres northeast of Vientiane offers some beautiful scenery, magnificent waterfalls, river, and trekking trails through evergreens and deciduous forests as well as rare animals such as sun bears, tigers and elephants.
At 09:30 am we will reach the viallage of Ban Hatkha where you will be welcomed by our local guides your freshly made Lao picnic.
Starting the Orchid Trek at Pha Say with its breathtaking view followed by narrow, shaded trails on the way. We have chance to explore the different types of forest in the park such us semi-deciduous, tropical and bamboo – extraordinary, unspoilt habitats. Especially you will get the opportunity to learn about the medicinal uses of the forest plants and also the other plant types in the forest.
Enjoy your picnic lunch in a dry river bed (depending on the season).
In the afternoon, we continue our trip to the beautiful waterfall at Tad Say before return to the village. If you are lucky you will have chance to see some the colourful butterflies and birds in the forest.
Return to Vientiane is at around 6:00pm. Overnight stay at your hotel.
We leave the city in the early morning for our journey to the Northern; we will see some stunning landscape on the way as we pass through beautiful countryside towards the mountainous region.
Along the way, we will experience the colorful market of KM52 where local people come to trade goods and buy provisions.
We may stop to take a photo at Hin Heup bridge, and the fish market in Ban Tha Heua.
We reach our destination Vang Vieng which lies on the Nam Song River with the limstone hill landscape surrounding the town.
In the afternoon, we continue our trip by passing through paddy field areas heading to Tham Phoukham caves which is located to the northeast of the village of Ban Na Thong . On the way, you will experience the local cultures by greeting the local people and learning about their daily lifestyle.
There is a small natural pool named Blue Lagoon in front of the caves where you can take a swim and relax by yourself or you could explore the nearby area.
Return to town, we will take the leisurely boat along the Namsong River while enjoying the sun setting behind the mountains.
Overnight in Vang Vieng
After breakfast, we will be transferred to Phatang Resort far from 18 km to the Vang Vieng Northern. After being mainly introduced about kayaking, we will cruise downstream the beautiful Nam Song river and make our way to first stop at Tham Xang Cave where we shall walk around the cave and learn about its local history.
After leaving the cave, we continue to do kayaking to enjoy picnic lunch on the riverside.The next stop would be the Organic Farm where local people produce mulberry tea and different fruit wine.
Keep cruising down to Tham None Cave - one of the largest caves in Vang Vieng which was the shelter for local people in the Second Indochina War in the past, however, nowadays, it is ideal home for bat families
The end of the journey to day is a soft paddle downstream to Vang Vieng where we will arrive just in time to catch the sunset.
Overnight in Vang Vieng.
We get up a bit early to walk around the town and visit the local market to have a closer look at daily life in a typical Lao rural area.
After breakfast, we head to the southwest of Vang Vieng to visit the cave of Tham Jang, which is famous for being used in defense against the Chinese invaders in the early 19th century.
We transfer to visit Ban Phathau village where we could experience different local lifestyles.
Then we make our way to Luang Prabang which is considered as the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia.
we go through some stunning landscape scenery with rice terraced fields and moutainous villages, we should miss to have a few photo when stopping at some small hill tribe village on the way.
We also have chance to enjoy the panoramic view over the surrounding area at the peak of over 2000m. We may make a short stop to visit the local school at Ban Nasala before reaching Luang Prabang.
Overnight in Luang Prabang
This morning , our guide and driver will pick up you and driver for one hour to Ban Xeng Mouk Village.
We start to visit to the ethnic Khmu village of Ban Longlao Nung and then the nearby Hmong village of Ban Longlao Song.
You will have chance to observe the lifestyles of these two differently cultural minority groups and a bit suprise because of despite of differences , they still manage to work together day by day and even sharing the same school.
We pass through rice paddys and vegetable fields and heading the moutainous forest. On the way we could discover a cave which was a bomb shelter for local villagers in the second Indochina War.
After visiting the cave one more hour of trekking brings us to one of the many springs which feeds Kuang Xi waterfalls, here a beautiful pool full of sacred fish can be seen. After descending from the top of the waterfall we enjoy a Lao style lunch amongst some beautiful settings!
After that, we have a soft trekking in one hour reaching the most famous Kuang Si Waterfalls in Laos. We spend full afternoon in bathing and relaxing around the turquoise pools below the waterfall or we could also visit
You can see up close Asiatic bears have been rescued from illegal farms at the Bear Rescue Centre which is located nearby.
For the final leg today, we shall make a short stroll to the nearby Khmu village of Ban Thapene, which is home to some of the most beautiful pools of Kuang Xi Waterfalls.
Overnight in Luang Prabang
We get up early to join the most sacred tradition of Laos - the Buddhist Alms Giving Ceremony which has been existed since 14th century. About 200 Buddhist monks coming from many temples in the surrounding area to collect their daily meal from the faithful local people on the streets.
After that, we shall have chance to taste the flavor of local life by visiting the temporary morning market where the local people gather and exchange goods such as rice, vegetable, fish and so on.
Back to hotel for light breakfast then take a local traditional boat at Kamu Lodge pier at 08:30am and cruise upstream to each one of the most stunning caves in Luang Prabang - Pak Ou caves
We continue to head to Kamu Lodge at noon. Our staff are ready to greet by welcome drink. After check -in, we enjoy Laos traditional lunch settled in the middle of rice paddy fields.
After lunch time, we shall have chance to enjoy the traditional Kamu lifestyles and activities such as rice planting and harvesting in surrounding rice fields, traditional fishing techniques, visit of the Kamu village, archery contest and so on.
You will be served by Dinner Kamu tribe that you will have a closer look at Kamu ‘World.
Time at leisure after dinner. Overnight at Kamu Lodge
Today we will get the opportunity to have 4-hour challenging trekking in the forest near the waterfall.
Then we will enjoy a picnic lunch to the waterfall. After lunch, we come back to the Lodge and do not forget to visit one village along the Mekong River
In the afternoon, you are free at leisure ( you could relax by enjoying activities available such as bathe in the Mekong,Lao traditional massage and so on.
Have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Kamu Lodge
In the morning, you are free to walk around the lodge.
After lunch, we shall take a local boat to return to Luang Prabang.
The drop -off point would be the Chanthavinh Resort located at the other sides of Mekong river, in the peaceful Ban Chan village, the best place for us to spend the last night in Laos.
In the morning, we will take the local boat return to Luang Prabang to visit some attractive destinations in Luang Prabang.
We shall first climb to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable discovery of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a stunning sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.
After that, we will visit Royal Palace Museum, which was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family.
Our city tour continues with magnificent Wat Xiengthong, representing classical Lao temple architecture.
If we have enough time, we will make a stroll around the small streets of the city center, having a closer look at the life of local people and visiting the traditional house of Heuan Chan, the Chantal wooden house dating back to 100 years old.
We will transfer to airport for departure flight. End of services.
