Itinerary

Yangon Arrival
Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, Meet and greet with our driver and transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Yangon
 
 

Yangon – Mt. KyaikHtieYoe (Golden Rock) (B)
After breakfast you are picked up at your Yangon hotel and driven to Bago (84 Km, 1½ hours). En route visit a tree shrine dedicated to legendary animist spirits known as ‘nats’. Then visit the impressive and moving Allied War Graves cemetery near Htauk Kyant, the last resting place of over 6300 Allied soldiers and home to a memorial to 27,000 more. A stop is made in the handicraft village that produces woven bamboo wares.  Continue to Kin Pun (110 km, 3½ hours) where you start in the trucks and on foot for Kyaiktiyo (the Golden Rock). On arrival, watch the beauty of a sunset at this important pilgrimage site. Accommodation at hotel near Kyaiktiyo

Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon (B)
After breakfast, walk 4 Km downhill where you continue in an open truck to Kin Pun, and rejoin your car and driver.  Drive to Bago. Here you visit the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, which is over a thousand years old, and whose tip is even taller than that of Yangon's Shwedagon Pagoda. Continue to the 55-metre-long reclining Shwe Thalyaung Buddha image, one of the country's most revered objects. Visit the Maha Kalayani Sima (ordination hall) and Mahazedi (Great Stupa), offering panoramic views. Lastly, continue to Yangon, with a brief stop at Kyaik Pun Pagoda, famous for its four giant Buddha figures. Upon arrival in Yangon, transfer to your hotel for overnight

Yangon - Bagan - Whole day sightseeing in Bagan (B)
This morning we head for the airport to get the early morning flight to Bagan. Check into the hotel and depart for a sightseeing excursion around the Bagan Archaeological Zone World Heritage Area. A comprehensive exploration of Bagan includes NyaungOo market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas; KyansitthaUmin; Wet-kyi-inn Gubyaukgyi Temple with exquisite mural painting of 13th century and Htilominlo Temple. In the afternoon, after a visit to lacquer ware workshops; continue to Manuha Temple built by exile King Manuha; Nanphaya, said to have been the residence of King Manuha; Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece and Oak-Kyaung monastery decorated with multi-color mural paintings. Enjoy the breathtaking sunset from one of the temple of Bagan. Overnight at the hotel in Bagan
 

Bagan – Mt.Popa Sightseeing (B)
After breakfast at your hotel, we drive to Mount Popa – 48 km from Bagan. Mount Popa has been a significant part of Myanmar’s culture, religion and history since the earliest times. Its shrine is dedicated to worship the 37 Nats, an old Burmese animist spirit. As you climb the stairs to the top with your local guide, you will gain very interesting knowledge about nats and nat worship.  From the top of the peak you can have an amazing view over the Myingyan Plain (note that the climb is optional). After lunch, return drive back to Bagan. On the way back, en route stop at village cottage industry to learn the regional product as well as to watch the collection of juice from the palm trees, and its conversion to brown sugar. Do not miss out the chance to try the palm juice. Overnight in Bagan
 

Bagan – Mandalay Whole day sightseeing in Mandalay (B)
After early morning breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival take a sightseeing tour of Mandalay. Mandalay is the last capital of Myanmar and that make her to be the best place to see all the traditional arts and crafts. Start your exploration with a visit to gold leaf making work-place and see how the gold leaf is being made by hand in a traditional way. In the afternoon continue to Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world’s biggest book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda; a large Buddha image carved out of single block of marble. And enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay

Mandalay – Mingun Sightseeing- Amarapura – Manndalay (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the jetty for a boat excursion across the Ayeywarwaddy River to visit Mingun- site of the world's largest intact bronze bell, 3.7 meters high and weighting 87 tons and the Mingun Bell, the second largest bell in the world are the most prominent religious heritages. Followed to visit the Myatheintan Pagoda, the best representation of the Universe, will refresh your tiredness and fatigue. Return to Mandalay. In the afternoon drive to ancient capital of Amarapura, the city of Immortality for a visit to Bagaya Monastery with a famous collection of Buddha images; weaving industries and visit Mahagandayone monastery, the largest teaching monastery in Myanmar where you can learn about the monastic life of the monks. The evening, enjoy a walk through 200 years old U Bein Wooden Bridge and fantastic sunset over the bridge. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay

Mandalay – Heho – Pindaya (B)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Mandalay Airport for your flight to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho, drive about 2 hours to the small quite town of Pindaya and enjoy the great scenic beauty of the countryside along the road to Pindaya. Visit Pindaya Lake and Pindaya Caves: these caves are ensconced in a limestone ridge overlooking the lake. Inside the cave, there are more than 8000 Buddha Images-made from alabaster, teak, marble, brick, lacquer and cement and are arrange in such a way as to from a labyrinth throughout the various cave chambers. Then proceed to Shwe U Min Paya and pay a visit to bamboo- umbrella domestic workshop. Overnight at Hotel in Pindaya

Pindaya – Inle Lake Sightseeing (B)
Today you will transfer to Nyaungshwe and board a private motorboat heading to Inle Lake. Along the way we will pass through some floating villages which are inhabited by the local Intha people. Here is also famous for its unique leg-rowers and the beauty scenery. You will also visit Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery (Jumping cats), which houses loads of early Shan Buddha Images. Continue to PhaungdawOo Pagoda – the lake’s main haven and contains five sacred images of Buddha decorated in gold leaf. There are also many traditional crafts in Inle Lake, you might wish to stop for a visit to boat builders (depending on the time of year), silversmith workshops, traditional weaving industry, blacksmith and cigar making factory. The day will come to a close with a return trip by boat back to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Inle Lake 

Indein Sightseeing (B)
After breakfast you’ll pay a visit to the lake market in a 5 day schedule. The lake’s inhabitants as well as the surrounding natives come here to sell and trade their goods. Then you will take an hour boat ride down a small canal to Indein, located on the western shores of Inle Lake and populated by Padaung ethnic (called female giraffes).  Enjoy a leisurely stroll around the village before ascending a rural road to the top of a hill. From the peak, you will be rewarded with alluring views of the placid surroundings. The Indein Pagoda complex is undoubtedly one of the most amazing sites around the shore of the lake and it consists of hundreds of small stupas which are overrun by moss and greenery. On your boat ride back, if time permits, you'll stop at the Inthar Heritage House to learn more about the history and culture of the lake's indigenous people. Overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake

Inle Lake - Heho – Flight to Thandwe – Ngapali Beach (B)
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Thandwe. Meet and greet at Thandwe Airport and transfer to Hotel at Ngapali Beach. Check in to your hotel and enjoy your beach break and relaxing on the beach all day. Overnight at Ngapali Beach

Ngapali - Thandwe - Flight to Yangon (B)
After breakfast, enjoy a few hour at the beach before transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Upon arrival at Yangon, our guide and car will pick you up at the airport and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image. Scott Market. Stop alongside Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake to take photographs over the lake towards Shwedagon. Enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, famous worldwide - its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Buddhist Myanmar. The pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa is surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. It is always full of people praying and making offerings, and is a fascinating place to spend time watching the world goes by. Accommodation at hotel in Yangon

Yangon departure (B)
After breakfast at your hotel you have free time until the transfer to the airport for a flight back to Yangon International Airport, where you take your departure flight.
