Enjoy lunch in town before visiting the Sosoro Museum and strolling through the French Quarter, ending at the historic Wat Phnom.

As dawn breaks, our cruise sails into the Tonle River, a natural wonder of Cambodia with breathtaking scenery on both sides.
Morning excursion: Travel by ox-cart through the Kampong Tralach countryside, passing lush rice paddies and small villages. Visit a local NGO school and library project or explore a 300-year-old temple and Buddha shrine. (Cycling option available for ‘The Jahan’ guests, exploring the historic Lungvek palace and Buddha Jade Temple.)
Back onboard, enjoy lunch as we continue sailing upstream. Later, our crew presents a showcase of traditional Khmer fashion.
Afternoon excursion: Upon arrival at Kampong Laeang, cross to the famed pottery town of Kampong Chhnang. Hop on a tuk-tuk ride through local villages, witnessing pottery making and visiting a pre-Angkorian temple with stunning views of the floodplains and rice fields. (Optional cooking demo for ‘Jayavarman’ guests or a cycling tour through rural landscapes for ‘The Jahan’ guests.)
As evening falls, we sail back toward Kampong Tralach, where we anchor for the night.

Here, you can reflect on his legacy while engaging with monks and locals about their daily rituals and stories.
Default Afternoon Excursion (any ship):
