Continue to Nwe Nyein and visit of Nwe Nyein (Pottery village) and visit around the small town.. Return to Chindwin Discovery and continue in the dircetion of Thabeikkyin. Stop at some villages and at a pagoda right in the middle of the Irrawaddy. Overnight at a sandbank.

Continue to Tagaung and visit of Tagaung. viewing the fortifications, a famous nat or spirit shrine and the archaeological area. Dinner and overnight at a sandbank.

In the morning continue upstream to Kathar and visit Kathar. the setting of the George Orwell's book "Burmese Days" and also the place where hundreds of the Irrawaddy Flotilla Company ships were scuttled in 1942.After that return to the boat and continue upstream. Overnight at a sandbank.
