Itineraries

Meet your boat in Rach Gia at 10:00 AM, where your crew will greet you with cold towels and a refreshing drink. Set off on a leisurely cruise along the scenic waterways of the Mekong Delta aboard your private Song Xanh Sampan.

Visit a local village where the residents skillfully weave bamboo baskets, an essential tool for daily life in the region. Enjoy a delicious lunch on board as you continue your journey.

Before sunset, make your final stop at a traditional Vietnamese home. Here, you’ll gain insight into the local way of life as the owner welcomes you. A candlelit dinner will be served, offering a truly authentic experience.

End your day with a peaceful overnight stay on board the Song Xanh, gently drifting on the Hau River.

Start your day with an early breakfast on board before heading to Tiger Island (Cu Lao Ong Ho), a small island that once served as the home of Vietnam’s second president, Ton Duc Thang. Take a leisurely stroll around the park surrounding the museum, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and historical significance.

Continue your journey to the charming town of Sa Dec, where you'll visit one of its most notable attractions—the ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le. This real-life figure is featured in Marguerite Duras’ acclaimed novel The Lover.

Explore the town further, taking in the blend of architectural influences from French colonial times, alongside the vibrant presence of large Chinese and Khmer communities. This rich cultural mix is reflected in the many religious sites, including a Cao Dai temple, a Catholic church, a Chinese temple, and Vietnamese pagodas, all standing side by side.

Lunch and dinner will be served on board as you continue your cruise. Enjoy your second night aboard the Song Xanh, drifting along the tranquil waters of the Mekong River.

Set off early in the morning as you cruise towards Cai Be, observing the rhythm of daily life along the riverbanks—locals going about their routines against the backdrop of stunning riverscapes. Enjoy breakfast served on board as you take in the peaceful surroundings.

From the islet, transfer to a rowing sampan and glide through the tranquil, narrow canals. Along the way, stop at various points to explore the fascinating home-based cottage industries of the region, including brick factories and local food production such as coconut candy and puffed rice.

Your cruise concludes at Le Longanier Restaurant, where lunch is served in a beautiful colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river. Surrounded by fruit plantations, this elegant venue offers a glimpse into the grandeur of Indochina’s past.
