Upon reaching Sa Dec, step ashore to explore the lively outdoor market brimming with vibrant colors and local produce. Visit the historic house of the real-life inspiration behind Marguerite Duras’ acclaimed novel and film, The Lover.

End the day with a candlelit dinner in this iconic setting before retreating to the comfort of the Song Xanh for your first night aboard, gently drifting on the Tien River.

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast served on board as the Song Xanh Sampan cruises through a narrow canal toward Long Xuyen. Along the way, admire the picturesque views of rustic monkey bridges and the serene countryside.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch on board before arriving in Long Xuyen, where you’ll visit Tiger Island, the birthplace of Vietnam’s second president. Discover the island’s rich history and unique charm before returning to the sampan.

Savor a delicious dinner on board as the boat resumes its journey toward Chau Doc. The sampan will sail until approximately 10:00 PM before anchoring for the night. Relax and enjoy your overnight stay on the tranquil waters.

Enjoy breakfast on board as your sampan glides toward Chau Doc, a vibrant town near the Cambodian border and the gateway to Phnom Penh. Renowned for its beautiful pagodas and temples, Chau Doc is also home to the stunning Tra Su Bird Sanctuary, a serene eucalyptus mangrove teeming with diverse wildlife.

Arrive at Victoria Chau Doc’s private pier at approximately 10:00 AM, where your journey concludes.
