ACTIVITIES
On our enchanting travel through beautiful Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Long bay will allow travelers to relax and explore untouched areas, rare specialized itineraries.
Kayaking
Kayaking is a must try experience when you visit Lan Ha Bay. With kayak, paddles and life jacket, you are free to explore limestone islets and secluded beaches. The water in Lan Ha Bay is calm, type of kayak is light and easy to control which makes kayaking easier.
Swimming
Together with kayaking, swimming is another activity on the must-do list at small sandy beaches to relax or sunbathe. There are certain areas that allow swimming in the bay where the water is not too deep. The water is a nice temperature, cool in the summer, and the emerald waters are perfect for swimming.
Night squid fishing
Night squid fishing is very simple; travelers only need a small bamboo needle and a hook without bait. On the side of the cruise, yachts have installed lights to attract ink, so travelers need to do is drop the needle and wait for ink bites. In another hand, the number of squids also depends on weather conditions. The ideal time for squid fishing is in the winter, when the temperature drops to a low, cold, squid will go to the east, easier to catch.
Early morning Taichi class
While Tai Chi originated in China, the lessons introduced on board are basic and have been simplified so that everyone can follow. Our Tai Chi trainer will guide you through each part of the lesson. Tai Chi exercise is a gentle way to release stress and fatigue.
Cooking demonstration
Our Head Chef will be the host for this “show”, he will guide you to make the most famous and tasty Vietnamese dish - “Nem” (Spring roll). Started as a cooking demonstration, the Chef introduces ingredients needed. When our chef finishes with his part, it’s your turn to cook the spring roll yourself. Then you may cook at home for Vietnamese memories trip.
Local bamboo rowing boat
Take a very easy and relaxing excursion to beautiful sea water cave and hidden lagoons named Dark & Bright cave by comfortably on local bamboo boat rowed by the locals. Going through the Dark & Bright cave, travelers will come to a valley, surrounded by magnificent mountains. The scene gives us a feeling of being lost in the Heaven.
Cycling tour (3days 2 nights itinerary only)
Our guests will have a chance to bike in one of famous Viet Hai village located in the midst of the jungle in Cat Ba Island. The village covers a total area of 86.25 km² with a population of just 312 people. The total distance for biking is about 5 km. There are some low hills and a tunnel. It should be easy for everyone to keep up but there are some other options available. You can choose either to bike in and out of the village. Our tour guide will lead the biking group and introduce guests to the site. Take your time to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. Check the bike carefully before leaving. Make sure you stay with the group at all times.
