Introduction

Pleiku is a city in central Vietnam, located in that nation's central highland region. It is the capital of the Gia Lai Province.
From 50 km south of Kontum and 200 km from Quy Nhon, Pleiku is the intersection of Highway Number 19 and 14 and is the culmination of local tourism. Pleiku is a historically relevant city, especially in relation to the Vietnam War.
After the war, Pleiku was rebuilt with the help of the USSR, which explains why the city displays a Soviet influence. Although it receives foreign interventions, Pleiku retains its rural charm like the mountainous countryside and magnificent forests.
