Introduction

Night Safari is the world's first night zoo and one of Singapore's most popular tourist attractions.

The concept of a night park in Singapore was suggested in the 1980s by former Singapore Zoo Executive Chairman Dr. Ong Swee Law. Built at a cost of C $ 63 million, Night Safari was officially inaugurated on May 26, 1994 and occupies a 35-hectare (86-acre) secondary forest adjacent next to the Singapore Zoo and the Upper Seletar Reservoir.

Unlike traditional night houses, which turn the day-night cycle of animals around, they will be active day by day, the Night Safari is an open-air zoo open in a rainforest that is open only at night. It is divided into seven geographical zones, which can be explored either on foot by four pedestrian paths or by tram.
