The entrance fee for Ngoc Island is priced at VND 150,000 per person. This ticket grants visitors access to a range of complimentary activities such as kayaking, water biking, traditional basket boat rowing, paddle boating, recreational fishing, and guided eco-tours exploring the mangrove forest ecosystem.
However, please note that additional charges may apply for certain activities available on or around the island.
Visitors can find various lodging options in nearby Vung Tau city or directly at Ngoc Island. From budget-friendly guesthouses that price VND 300,000/room onwards to luxury resorts that cost above VND 1,200,000/room, there are a lot of options to suit every traveler's preferences and budget. To reach Ngoc Island from Ho Chi Minh City, you just need to follow the National Highway No. 1A until the Long Thanh Intersection in Dong Nai Province. From there, you continue to take the National Highway No. 51 to Vung Tau City, and then drive for a bit more to the wharf to Ngoc Island.
With this route, you can either drive with your family or take a passenger bus from the Eastern Bus Station. Some bus companies specialize in Saigon – Ngoc Island routes, with the normal fare for each trip ranges from VND 80.000 to VND 120.000.
Or if you are staying in Vung Tau city, it will only take you about 10 minutes to travel. This distance is very short, so both motorbike taxis and regular taxis are suitable.
