In terms of its population, Muong Te District is an area with a high concentration of ethnic minorities. The entire district is home to 10 diverse ethnic groups living harmoniously together. Among them, we must mention ethnic communities such as the Thai, Hmong, Dao, Si La, Muong, and Tay.

As a result, the annual stone-worshiping ceremony is of great significance and receives considerable attention from the local residents.

As a pristine and mysterious mountain peak, Pu Si Lung stands at the Vietnam-China border, located in Pa Ve Su Commune, Muong Te District, Lai Chau Province, with an elevation of 3,083 meters.

This is known as one of the "Three Roof" peaks of Vietnam. Pu Si Lung peak possesses all the typical characteristics of the climate in the Northwest region. Therefore, when conquering this mountain peak, you need to be extremely cautious, as it is by no means an easy feat. In addition to the fact that the higher you go, the colder the temperature gets, the path to conquer the mountain peak is quite steep and challenging.
