The perfect time to visit Long Coc Tea Hill is in spring of the year. In the spring, the hill becomes completely green and the weather is not so hot. Thus, it is perfect during this period of the harvest season.
Autumn, however, is ideal for photographers when the morning mist wraps the hills, making the scenery dreamy and scenic. The monsoon starts from July until August, and it's not a good time to visit the place because the trails will be slippery, and reaching the place may be difficult, though the greenery that surrounds the place is fascinating.

Long Coc Tea Hill is located about 125 kilometers northwest of Hanoi in Phu Tho Province and can be reached by several ways. Moving by private vehicle along Thang Long Highway and following the direction to Phu Tho. Alternatively, the buses make their way to either Thanh Son District or Phu Tho Province from Hanoi, from which one can connect by using a taxi or motorbike upward to the tea hill.
