Best time to visit Koh Rong Pier and Village

Between mid-November and early-May is the ideal time to explore Koh Rong and its sister island, Koh Rong Samloem. You'll get gorgeous, scorching days (between 25 and 40 degrees Celsius) with little cloud cover and little humidity during these months.

The hot, dry weather arrives from the northeast between the end of November and the beginning of March, while the rain and wind originate from the southwest between June and September.

In Koh Rong, the rainy season lasts from the middle of May until the beginning of November. Most of the time, there will be brief, intense downpours during the day that continue for roughly two hours.
