This place features a highly impressive design with an iconic cone-shaped structure consisting of one underground level and one above-ground level. The underground level serves as a reception area for visitors, a space for learning, interaction, and various entertainment services. The above-ground level is an exhibition space dedicated to the historical victory of Dien Bien Phu, a panoramic area, and a working area.

The exhibition section is located on the upper floor of the museum, covering an area of 1,250 square meters. It features nearly 1,000 documents, artifacts, images, and maps, and is considered a modern exhibition that has been scientifically and artistically organized with the support of advanced technology and techniques.
