Introduction

The Clarke Quay is a historic river wharf in Singapore, located in the planning area of the Singapore River. The wharf is located upstream of the mouth of the Singapore River and the Boat Wharf. This wharf was named after Andrew Clarke, the second governor of Singapore who played an important role in the development of Singapore.
