Visiting Baclayon Church
Baclayon Church is a Roman Catholic church that was built in 1596 and became a parish in 1717. In 2010, it was recognized by the National Museum of the Philippines as a national cultural treasure. Unfortunately, in 2013, the church was severely damaged by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake and had to be rebuilt from 2014 to 2018. However, the restoration preserved its ancient architecture.
Visitors can easily reach the church by bus or jeep. If you love the atmosphere of old churches and want to admire its historic beauty, be sure to visit this place!
