The easiest way to reach Bohol is by taking a domestic flight to Tagbilaran. There are daily flights from Manila that go directly to the heart of Bohol, and you can also travel to Bohol from other parts of the Philippines.
The fastest and most convenient way is to fly directly to Panglao International Airport, located on Panglao Island. From there, you can explore Panglao first and then take a boat to Bohol to continue your journey. Although it requires two legs of the trip, visiting Panglao Island before heading to Bohol will surely be worth the experience.
Island-hopping is very common for travelers in the Philippines, a country of thousands of islands. If you’re coming from Cebu, you can choose to travel by either plane or ferry. While flights are more expensive, they will get you to Bohol much faster compared to taking a ferry.
Tricycle
The tricycle is the most commonly found mode of transport in Bohol. It looks similar to the Tuk Tuk in Thailand, but is smaller in size. You can use a tricycle if you're traveling with fewer than four people. Traveling in a group of four can also help save some costs on transportation during your trip.

Chocolate Hills - The Sweet Hills of Bohol
